Someone who is on a journey of self-discovery, self-advocacy, and self-love.
That’s the short answer anyway. I’m not entirely sure what to put here, since this is both my professional and personal website. Eventhough the name of this is “daniellekochcom.wordpress.com”. I know, it would have been simpler to go with daniellekoch.wordpress.com. I had all the hope in the world of doing so. But for a cheap domain, you get what you pay for. However, that’s not what you’re going to get here, folks.
So what should you, the reader, expect?
- Creative writing and photography. I am a creative person with visions of publishing my own novel and/or memoir one day. You’re going to get snippets of poetry, essay, short stories, and pleanty of prose that span genre and form.
- Nonfiction accounts. Nothing super drama filled and nothing coded with identifying features. With that said, I’m pretty open about my mental health and professional journey. It has not been a smooth path, for anyone involved.
- Inspirational words. Realizations that I’ve had that have helped keep me going. Advice – when advice is layered in narrative, metaphor, and observation.
